FORMER NASA astronaut and moon-walker Dr Edgar Mitchell - a veteran of the Apollo 14 mission - has stunningly claimed aliens exist.
And he says extra-terrestrials have visited Earth on several occasions - but the alien contact has been repeatedly covered up by governments for six decades.
FORT WORTH, Texas — An enormous aircraft without transponders traveling up to 2,100 mph — at one time zooming toward President Bush's Crawford ranch — is similar to the mysterious object dozens reported seeing, according to radar documents examined by a group that studies unidentified flying objects. ... FAA spokesman Roland Herwig said Monday that he had not seen the radar information provided to MUFON and could not comment on it or the group's interpretation of the data.
MUFON requested reports from the night of Jan. 8, when several dozen people in Texas dairy country — including a pilot, county constable, business owners and former air traffic controller — reported seeing a large silent object with bright lights flying low and fast.
Some folks reported seeing military jets chasing it, which also was confirmed in the FAA radar documents. ... The object was between 524 feet and 1,000 feet long, according to a MUFON report released earlier this month.
A strange rock with unusual magnetic properties - deeply scored, with what appears to be moon phases, a solar eclipse and the depiction of a supernova -- has been unearthed on the outskirts of Roswell. Its discovery has startled researchers, scientists and all who have examined it.
Terra Firma. Nothing is more solid in secure in your mind than the ground you walk on. It is always there. If you jump – the Earth will catch you.
But how much do you know about the Earth. You “know” it is a sphere flying about in space in an endless dance with the sun – never falling into it and never being slung free.
But that doesn’t make sense does it? I mean to your actual senses. A round earth isn’t what you are experiencing. Earth flows out before you. If it’s flat like a flattened duck….
Is science wrong? Is science hiding something? Is the earth flat? Or is it a little tubby in the middle?
Flat Earth.
"We are more gullible and superstitious today than we were in the Middle Ages, and an example of modern credulity is the widespread belief that the Earth is round. The average man can advance not a single reason for thinking that the Earth is round. He merely swallows this theory because there is something about it that appeals to the twentieth century mentality." - George Bernard Shaw
When you are told the Earth is round you feel embarrassed that you feel that isn’t so. Rather than accept such a bizarre concept as a round earth as fact why not shout out “are you saying my eyes lie!” Humans innately know the truth that the Earth is flat, that is why maps are more popular than globes. We subconsciously want the accurate flat representation of the planet.
In 1931 Wilbur Glenn Voliva offered the tidy some of $5,000 to anyone who could prove the world was a globe. $5,000 in 1931 dollars is a lot of green, more than enough to buy a tank of gas for your gas-guzzling Model T. Mr. Voliva never had to pay out the $5,000 (as far as I can tell), because no one could prove the world was round. What proof do “they” really have: The Fake Moon Landing?
But even the science around such an obvious thing as the Earth being flat is some what contentious.
Is the Sun 23 miles around as Mr. Voliva believed? Is the Sun and Moon held up by Photoelectic Suspension? that is for future scholars to decide, because we have been taught a lie (that the Earth is round) research into the Science around the truth has been lacking. One theory posits that the heat of the Earth comes from below and not from the sun. This makes a lot of sense, because we all know heat rises, so obviously the sun only supplies heat to the heavens above it and not to us Earthlings laying flat below it.
Even Creationists argue against a Flat Earth, saying that the “Evolutionists” have created a myth that Christians believe the Earth is flat, thus making the Creationists seem ill-informed.
Ummm... did they need to use "probing" in a page title for an article on aliens and UFOs?
Anyway back to the article:
Alien army
A SHAKEN soldier told last night how he saw THIRTEEN UFOs spinning in the skies above his military barracks.
Corporal Mark Proctor was among three squaddies who spotted the objects while out on night patrol.
He filmed them on his mobile phone and reported the close encounter to Army top brass. ... Cpl Proctor, 38, of the 1st Battalion Irish Regiment, recalled how he saw the amazing “craft” just after 11pm on Saturday, June 7.
He said: “I was on duty in the guard room when the other boys outside began shouting. I went out to see what the commotion was about and could see thirteen craft in the skies.
“They were zig-zagging, but I filmed two before they disappeared. They were like rotating cubes with multiple colours.
If you go to the site and look at the video you'll realize you've seen those ships before:
Thanks to trek move for the image.

Disappointing:
Obviously yet another government plant in attempt to disparage the ufo investigative community.
A video that purportedly shows a living, breathing space alien will be shown to the news media Friday in Denver.
Jeff Peckman, who is pushing a ballot initiative to create an Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission in Denver to prepare the city for close encounters of the alien kind, said the video is authentic and convinced him that aliens exist.
"As impressive as it is, it's still one tiny portion in the context of a vast amount of peripheral evidence," he said Wednesday. "It's really the final visual confirmation of what you already know to be true having seen all the other evidence."
I've discussed the first on their list before, but it really bears repeating.
#7.The Business Plot
The Plan: In 1933, group of wealthy businessmen that allegedly included the heads of Chase Bank, GM, Goodyear, Standard Oil, the DuPont family and Senator Prescott Bush tried to recruit Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler to lead a military coup against President FDR and install a fascist dictatorship in the United States. And yes, we're talking about the same Prescott Bush who fathered one US President and grandfathered another one.
How did that work out? A good rule of thumb: never trust a man named Smedley to run your hostile military coup for you. Besides being no fan of fascism, Smedley Butler was both a patriot and a vocal FDR supporter. Apparently none of these criminal masterminds noticed that their prospective point man had actively stumped for FDR in 1932.
Smedley spilled the beans to a congressional committee in 1934. Everyone he accused of being a conspirator vehemently denied it, and none of them were brought up on criminal charges. Still, the House McCormack-Dickstein Committee did at least acknowledge the existence of the conspiracy, which ended up never getting past the initial planning stages.
Though many of the people who had allegedly backed the Business Plot also maintained financial ties with Nazi Germany up through America's entry into World War II.
Other things covered in the list:
#6 The July 20 Plot (Operation Valkyrie to kill Hitler) #5 Operation Ajax (Britain and American influence in overthrowing the democratically elected governor of Iran and installing the Shah - that really worked out well for everyone didn't it.) #4 The Gunpowder Plot (how Guy Fawkes gave us that cool V for Vendetta comic and movie) #3 The Tuskegee Experiment (You listen to Rev. Wright and think he's insane to think that the government would drug blacks? Read about the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment to learn more about where he's coming from. #2 Operation Snow White (How Scientology broke infiltrated many parts of the US Government to destroy anything anti-Scientology) #1 Project MKULTRA (you know the one where our tax dollars were used to drug our citizens? Now we just do it to terror suspects).
Good News Catholic TFC readers! Your belief in UFOs is okay with the Pope! So as long as you stop with the hamburger eating on Fridays while watching X-Files reruns you are in the clear:
VATICAN CITY - Believing that the universe may contain alien life does not contradict a faith in God, the Vatican's chief astronomer said in an interview published Tuesday.
And that is really good news because there is something in the air… and what’s in the air is a UFO!
LONDON -- The men were air traffic controllers. Experienced, calm professionals. Nobody was drinking. But they were so worried about losing their jobs that they demanded their names be kept off the official report.
No one, they knew, would believe their claim an unidentified flying object landed at the airport they were overseeing in the east of England, touched down briefly, then took off again at tremendous speed. Yet that's what they reported happened at 4 p.m. on April 19, 1984.
The incident is one of hundreds of reported sightings contained in more than 1,000 pages of formerly secret UFO documents being released Wednesday by Britain's National Archives. It is one of the few that was never explained.
And there is also news from this side of the pond:
A retired U.S. Air Force colonel and former fighter jet pilot says that he chased a UFO across West Texas and watched it crash along the Rio Grande River near Del Rio, Texas. Shortly after, he visited the crash site and saw a metallic object unlike any aircraft he had ever seen “sticking into the side of a hill.” Decorated World War II and Korean War veteran Robert B. Willingham, 82, discloses his strange 1955 encounter in a new book titled "The Other Roswell: UFO Crash on the Texas-Mexico border," written by UFO researchers Noe Torres and Ruben Uriarte.
